The educational philosophy at the Intergenerational Learning Center supports the whole child concept of development. We believe in offering care and protection within an educationally challenging and richly prepared environment that will meet the needs of your child.
 

This philosophical basis is implemented through an eclectic cognitive developmental approach to early childhood education. The teachers will draw on the works of Paiget Montessori, Erickson, Bredskamp, Kohlberg, DeVries and others to implement developmentally appropriate practices that meet the needs of the whole child, socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and culturally.
 

Our teachers work using a team approach within each classroom. The staff works together in planning goals, objectives, and thematically integrated curriculum.
 

We will provide appropriate nurturing, offer developmentally appropriate choices, facilitate and assess each child's pattern of development and respect the uniqueness of all our children.
