Position Description

As a Business Analyst at Gurstel Chargo, P.A. you will be responsible for analyzing inventory and all aspects of the Collections cycle.  This will include strategy changes and enhancements; late stage and early stage changes to assess collection effectiveness. You will be looking at the lifecycle of our collection files to determine areas of improvement, or concern.  You will be responsible for trending information and recommending changes to enhance our process while maximizing profitability.  You will be responsible for working with the IT team to develop reports and to suggest programming changes to our current system.  You will be responsible for reporting your findings to the management team along with your suggestions.  You will collaborate with peers and other departments for implementation of strategy and programs, using cross-functional resources as needed.  You will also be involved in our client audits, doing pre-audits as well as facilitating actual client audits.  This is a newly created entry level position within our Law Firm.  We are a diverse group of fun people and work in a very creative environment.  The Firm is dedicated to giving back to its employees and we reward passionate leaders committed to excellence, we want you to grow with us.

Basic Qualifications:
1 year experience in Problem Solving with an Engineering, Economics, or other science related degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
*CFA, SQL, SAS, FRM Certifications
*1 Year experience in Statistical model building, market research, SQL querying
*2 Years experience in Business analyst in a corporate setting
*1 Year experience in Consulting
