Marketing and Sales Engineer
The primary responsibility of this position is to attain the highest possible level of profitable sales through effective business skills and selling activities including obtaining new business and creating materials that effectively represent Carley Foundry's superior quality and service. As well as by growing existing accounts and developing new accounts and involves direct interface and constant involvement at all levels of the below accounts and the corresponding interface with Carley Foundry personnel.  These positions include CEO, President, Sales Manager, Office manager, Engineering, Production, Quality, and any other activities necessary to insure positive results.

Marketing and Sales Education:  The position requires a two or four year degree, and/or 5 or more years of related experience.

Essential Marketing and Sales Responsibilities: This position is responsible to determine customers’ needs and wants for both the present and future. Keep the Sales Manager informed of any major customer issues and participates in the resolution of any problems. Assist in collecting from delinquent accounts and help to settle any major disputes between Carley Foundry and the customer. Has access to, and maintains as confidential, pricing and cost data, proprietary methods and processes, personnel data, financial data and company future planning. With minimal direction, determines tasks to be performed and schedules to be met from personal knowledge of company plans and objectives. Estimating or technical errors may result in loss and can affect production, costs and profits.  Successful performance of the Sales Engineering function is critical to company.

Quality Management: This position must work with the Quality Manager to maintain and/or develop quality procedures to produce quality castings. Operate within quality standards established by the Quality Department and take appropriate steps to ensure compliance to standards. Monitor operations visually and through reports for compliance to quality procedures. Take appropriate action to maintain compliance to quality procedures and continually improve casting quality. Conduct formal quality reviews with appropriate plant people on and regular basis to discuss quality improvement opportunities. Observe operating equipment and people to ensure quality castings can be produced.  Take timely appropriate action if minimum quality levels cannot be met. Assist in implementation of total quality management, AS 9000 and ISO 9000 systems.

SALARY - $85,000.00 plus dependent on qualifications

HOURS per week 45
