Teach 100-level mathematics courses that fulfill a general education requirement and prepare students to take further mathematics, computer science, natural science, and engineering courses.
Prepare course materials, coordinate with department faculty as needed, conduct and oversee all class activities, administer assessments, provide feedback to students, and submit final course grades to the University Registrar.
Clear and well-organized oral and written communication of mathematical concepts. Supportive mentoring of undergraduate students.
Preference given for teaching at the undergraduate level within an institution of higher education.
At least 18 academic credits of graduate-level work in mathematics. Preference given for Master's Degree or Doctorate in a mathematics-related area.
Compensation: Dependent upon education and experience.
