Engineering Change Coordinator

We are looking for an Engineering Change Coordinator who will report to the Manufacturing Engineer Team Lead , and who'll be tasked with monitoring and updating engineering requests, authorizations, changes, and communication. As part of your role, you'll be managing all aspects of IT changes.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:



  • Plan activities, define and sequence the tasks needed to accomplish the change request

  • Support and execute the Engineering Change Notice process via PTC Windchill and SolidWorks PDM

  • Facilitate engineering changes between Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production Personnel

  • Maintain Item Master and Bill of Material (BOM) data in the ERP system (Distribution Plus)

  • Support the Engineering, Production, Purchasing/Planning, and After Sales teams by helping answer BOM-related questions

  • Manage engineering change effectivity and support other change related processes

  • ECN risk assessment and impact

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate the results of the change request

  • Validate ECN proper implementation within operation teams

  • Manage regular meetings for ECN process

  • Follow action plan of each team and are completing necessary actions as assigned

  • Follow up of possible shortages of material due to ECN, communicating to the MRP team to take specific actions

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

  • Engineering Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

  • Experience managing Item Master records and BOM's in ERP systems

  • Proficiency in Windchill PLM and SW PDM (or similar) software as well as Creo and SolidWorks 3D CAD (or similar) software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite

  • Experience in maintaining BOM's for complex manufactured products
