Intermediate District 287 is looking for Vocational Teachers like you for FALL 2024!

The Career and Technical Center - Pathways program offers career courses for high school students that are designed to match the level of career readiness by focusing on skill development experiences, career awareness, and decision making that can lead to a college certificate, diploma, or degree.

Position Details:

This teaching position is responsible for classroom and lab instruction for a diverse student population in maintaining and repairing small engines. This includes instruction on 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine maintenance, preventative care, problem solving, critical thinking, minor and major engine rebuilding, and how to achieve customer satisfaction.
• FTE: 0.67 FTE
• Location: Career and Tech Center/Pathways - Eden Prairie, MN
• Salary is based on Local 2209 salary schedule

Requirements:

• Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
• High School diploma and 5 years of closely related experience OR an associate's degree
• Current teaching license in Transportation Careers, or another area and eligible and willing to apply for an Out of Field.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 Teaching License.
