Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an IT Engineering Implementation Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) in maintaining its information technology (IT) enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT Dev Ops projects.

Remote role. Must be local to the DC Metro area.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    Play a crucial role in driving innovation, ensuring the integrity of our IT infrastructure, and overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of IT engineers to achieve project goals and maintain high performance standards.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and time-line.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to maximize productivity and meet project objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Collaborate with other departments, stakeholders, and leadership to align IT initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team in areas such as system architecture, network design, and infrastructure management.
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, time-lines, and resource requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of projects within scope, budget, and time-line.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Identify and assess project risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, operations) to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship; Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years' experience.
  • 10 years experience leading the engineering and implementation of IT Projects and Programs.
  • 5 years experience managing IT projects and programs.
  • Experience designing mission critical LAN/WAN/CSP infrastructure.
  • Proven management experience using Dev Ops concepts.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
