Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our team. The UX Designer will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences across our software products. This role will lead UX design work with multiple development teams, be a collaborative contributor, and help organize our UX standards. This is an opportunity to join a growing UX team and think holistically about user-centered design. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding user needs and accessibility, has a strong eye for visual design, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future.

Job Responsibilities
* Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and other stakeholders to define and understand user needs and business goals.
* Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
* Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interaction patterns.
* Develop high and low fidelity visual designs, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
* Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
* Gauge the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change with the attention to detail to justify UX decisions and rationale.
* Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with user experience goals, accessibility constraints, and technical requirements.
* Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the user experience.
* Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and accessibility.
* Act as an advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to creating a design-driven culture within the organization.
* Fulfill other related duties as assigned.

Desired Background
* 3-5 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, product designer, information architect or similar role, working as a part of a development team.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience plus certification.
* Portfolio demonstrating your methodical thinking and outstanding digital product design work as well as a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices.
* Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in an agile development environment.
* Familiarity with web front-end development concepts and frameworks (Angular, Vue, React)
* Must have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and process.
* End-to-end knowledge of all stages of User Experience Design (Sketching, Prototyping, Iteration, Refinement and Evaluation) and familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing.
* Experience applying accessibility best practices and standards including WCAG compliance.
* Solid understanding of usability testing methodologies and user research techniques.
* Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Axure, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

Position must adhere to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines.
