The communications director will lead a strategic approach to managing our organization's reputation, engaging stakeholders, and effectively communicating key messages on a national scale. It is a critical role for shaping public perception, building relationships, and driving positive outcomes for Hazelden Betty Ford.
As a key business partner across the organization, this role will lead the external public relations, media relations, and external communications functions of the organization. The communications director will enhance our reputation as the national leader in addiction research, treatment and recovery expertise, providing public relations leadership, strategy and support to Hazelden Betty Ford as an enterprise and to each of the organization's business units. The communications director will play a critical role in collaborating across the organization, including the executive team, to actively enroll stakeholders in the communications plan.
