The Lead Salesforce Developer will have overall responsibility for developing solutions for the sales and service organizations through the customization and configuration of the Salesforce platform for important new business initiatives at Marvin Windows. The position will manage the Salesforce ecosystem, i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and assist with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player that is able to operate independently within Marvin's Digital Product Management organization and will play an instrumental role in helping develop, test, and expand an exciting new business capability.

Highlights of your role
    Design, develop, maintain and customize Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Design and develop complex solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem including LWCs and integrations with external systems
  • Work with business stakeholders to design new solutions on the Salesforce platform Manage Salesforce security, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
  • Implement and lead Salesforce DevOps for the org including release management, version control and software testing
  • Provide technical guidance to team members on which Salesforce customization option is most appropriate to meet the business need (LWC, flows, etc)
  • Participate in and/or lead design and code reviews for less experienced team members and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of a Salesforce roadmap for the org
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams within Marvin (IT infrastructure, etc)
  • Manage operational requests and reporting, including customer analysis and individual views, and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop training materials and provide training and support to end users.
  • Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management
  • Manage all sales related technical resources and migration of data into Salesforce
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • At least one Salesforce certification, "Salesforce Platform Developer or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, etc."
  • 5+ years of experience working on Salesforce platforms
  • 4+ years as a Salesforce Developer/Administrator in a similar environment (e.g., for a direct-to-consumer company), including utilization of Salesforce platform
  • Software engineering skills including Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing
  • Extensive experience in administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems and in-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and functionalities
  • Experience maintaining clean and efficient Salesforce databases and data models
  • Experience automating workflows with Salesforce Flow and ensuring successful Salesforce upgrades and integration
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access, importing sales data and generating Salesforce reports
  • Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support.
  • Hands-on experience with database management tools, such as Ring Lead or DemandTools
