POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the talent acquisition function for Liberty Diversified International, which includes performing full-cycle recruitment across LDI's businesses. Manages employment branding in the marketplace and drivessourcing of diverse talent, enhancing the organization's ability to meet current and future talent needs.Ensures hiring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Ensures talent acquisition processes and systems are driving desired results. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and manages a small team of recruiters - both internal and contract. This hybrid role is located at LDI's headquarters in New Hope, MN.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads and performs full-cycle recruitment activities, including partnering with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, posting roles, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the offer process in partnership with HR business partners.
  • Develops creative and diverse talent sourcing strategies to find talent for current and potential future needs. Sources potential candidates externally through various channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, colleges, professional associations, and networking), ensuring we provide hiring managers with diverse candidate slates.
  • Leads strategic work related to the talent acquisition function and HR related initiatives. Collaborates with HR business partners on talent acquisition initiatives from a strategic and tactical lens to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Leads, develops, and implements processes and tools to improve talent selection across the enterprise, providing training to leaders to improve talent assessment skills. This includes serving as a subject matter expert for the Applicant Tracking System and training leaders and HR partners as required.
  • Builds strong employer reputation, in partnership with Communications leader, by ensuring candidate experiences are positive and consistent throughout the hiring process and providing timely updates. Ensures compliance throughout the candidate experience and recruiting cycle.
  • Executes and manages external employment branding, working collaboratively with our Communications leader.
  • Manages recruiters who perform full cycle recruitment activities for exempt-level and non-exempt-level positions across LDI's businesses.
  • Develops and maintains hiring metrics, ensuring time-to-fill and hiring quality expectations are met.
  • Builds programs and initiatives by partnering with HR team members to drive talent towards the organization, including internships and college recruiting.
  • Builds and manages vendor partnerships and third-party recruiting resources.
  • Maintains oversight of LDI's executive-level assessment process.
  • Consults with HR Business Partners to develop recruitment strategies for their local market.
  • Partners with the HR Operations group to support talent acquisition-related technology projects and processes.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERINCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience building and driving creative, diverse, talent-sourcing initiatives
  • Ability to assess organizational talent needs and source the right talent for roles
  • Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, and internet sourcing tools
  • Experience developing recruiting processes and tools to improve talent selection and assessment skills across an organization while driving efficiencies
  • Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills, including attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Proven capability to build and maintain strong partnerships across all levels within an organization
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Previous experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of digital sourcing strategies and social media recruiting channels
  • Experience building employer branding strategies
  • Strong networking skills
